I came across an article last week in which someone listed their opinion of the "Top 10 Bass Guitar Players Today".The article heading is misleading because it led me to believe these were current bass players or at least they were all still alive. Upon reading the article I found that a couple of these bassists are deceased, so it's really a list of all-time top bass players. I've got two problems with this: 1 - I don't agree with the list
2 - The writer closed the comments so you can't voice your opinion...Gee, I wonder why?Okay it's his article and he's entitled to write what he wants...blah, blah, blah. Fine, but there were two such blatant omissions (in my opinion) that I was wondering what everyone else thought. But (did I mention) the comments are closed. Well, they are not closed here. Check out the article and let me know what you think: Top 10 Bass Players Today. So who were the two omissions? Well I'll give you a hint. One of them played a fretless version of this Fender Bass.
